Geo Entertainment is delighted to announce not one but two new drama serials coming this month, titled Farq and Zindagi Aik Paheli. While both have been making waves with their intriguing teasers, Zindagi Aik Paheli has caught attention with a story centered around women’s empowerment.

Penned by Dilawar Khan and Anila Syed, Zindagi Aik Paheli promises an emotional journey of three sisters who go through peculiar changes after their father’s death and face the adversities that come with paternal deprivation. The teasers feature Nimra Khan as Mehnaz, Maria Malik as Maleeha, Laiba Khan as Faiza, and Ayesha Gul as the mother.

Behroze Sabzwari will play the role of the father while Haroon Shahid will enter their lives as Maleeha’s love interest. Despite Maleeha’s urge to give the young man the benefit of doubt, she is made to fear his love, given that none of the men in their new neighbourhood has their best interest at heart. Shabbir Jan’s appearance is reserved for a later twist in that regard.

The teasers have hinted that the young women will soon be transcending deeply-rooted social barriers as they adapt to new changes in their lives, from moving to a new neighbourhood to facing a ruthless side of society and compromising their love lives for future security.

Zindagi Aik Paheli is a presentation of 7th Sky Entertainment by the dynamic duo Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. It is penned by Dilawar Khan and Anila Syed and directed by Shahid Younis. The drama serial also features some versatile actors including Farhan Ally Agha, Saleem Mairaj, Azra Mohiuddin, Maryam Noor, Raeed Muhammad Alam, Hashim Butt, Fareeha Jabeen, Farah Nadir, Farida Shabbir as part of its supporting cast.

Zindagi Aik Paheli will air daily at 7:00 p.m. on Geo Entertainment, starting from 31st October 2022
