Dil Awaiz’s finale to air tonight at 9 PM

Drama serial Dil Awaiz is marking its end tonight after reaching great heights of popularity for its unconventional storyline revolving around a dancing courtesan’s love life and her daughter’s questions about her family history.

With 40 episodes out so far, the second last episode emerged on top YouTube trends as it bagged over 3 million views in 16 hours. The audience saw Dil Awaiz (played by Kinza Hashmi) reconnecting with her maternal relatives despite her husband’s instructions against it and the taboo surrounding the profession in question.

The past few episodes unveiled an ugly turn of events after Dil Awaiz’s maternal aunt, Tamanna (played by Yasra Rizvi), unmasked her dark side— who initially seemed to be a strong, unconventional character with some moral depth and a positive side to her personality.

The reality check was indeed difficult to process for the young, naïve protagonist, who received little to no love in her father’s house and continued to long for someone who’d embrace her existence in her married life as her husband dealt with his own disappointment in love.

Little did she know, the only relative from her maternal background who she’d put her trust in was secretly hoping to turn her into a dancing courtesan.

Now with the last episode of Dil Awaiz expected to air on Friday at 9:00 p.m., it is to be seen if Sikandar (Affan Waheed) will be able to handle the situation at home after Dil Awaiz's short stay at Bulbul Hazaar Dastaan where she had been held hostage by Tamanna and Geeti.

Will Dil Awaiz get a chance at happiness after Sikandar’s newfound feelings for her or is she going to be abandoned by her in-laws for the stain on her reputation?

Dil Awaiz is a presentation of the country’s leading production house 7th Sky Entertainment by the dynamic duo Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. It is written by Madiha Shahid and directed by Mazhar Moin.
