Rashid has managed to be a good husband to Ifrah till now. Starring Neelam Munir and Ahsan Khan, the hotly-anticipated duo in the drama serial Qayamat has yet to counter plenty of family interference, and of past lovers.

The past few episodes circled around Nargis (starring Saba Faisal) who has continued spewing venom at her daughter-in-law, Ifrah, even after her mother’s demise, which briefly hinted at the possibility of her changing for the better.

It now appears that there is no hope in Nargis’ case as she has found her ‘ideal’ daughter-in-law and expects Urooj (Sidra Niazi) to be a part of her little world where happiness only comes in the form of bullying Ifrah. Surprising, Urooj did not even wait until her engagement with Jawad (Haroon Shahid) and already excels at being petty.

As for former lovers, Ifrah and Rashid both had left their past behind, until Rashid’s friends took him out to watch theatre where his gaze met Pari’s (Sana Fakhar). A recent teaser reveals that Pari will again come face to face with Rashid and insist on a reunion. And as for Ifrah, she, herself, tries to shake off thoughts about her former fiancé Jawad, who is yet to visit his hometown.

Qayamat airs on Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. on Geo Entertainment.
