Raniya is a well-educated young girl from a small town who takes pride in her intelligence and often offers advice to others. When she meets Maheer, at Khala Amma's house, he is initially not fond of her. Maheer who is Khala Amma's beloved grandson always looks down upon Maheer’s opinionated nature. The differences in Maheer and Raniya’s mindsets cause frustration and hatred between the two.

The involvement of their extended family begins to affect both Maheer and Raniya's behaviours and relationships. Maheer is forced to confront some truths about his family, which causes him to reevaluate his own values and beliefs. Meanwhile, Raniya must navigate her own feelings and desires while dealing with the challenges that come with cultural expectations and family dynamics.

Despite their initial struggles, Raniya and Maheer's relationship is tested and evolves in unexpected ways. Together, they must navigate the challenges and uncertainties that come with personal growth and the complex dynamics of family relationships.
