Daraar is a story of love, dreams and obsession which raises questions and seeks more profound answers for complex yet strange relationships.
Irha is a young and simple-minded girl who, after her parents' death, lives with her uncle’s family. Irha believes in hard work and supports her family financially. Her cousin Sajal is an attractive young girl who aspires to achieve her dreams of living a lavish lifestyle. To get all the luxuries early on in life, Sajal keeps herself surrounded by men who can fulfil her wishes.
Irha’s life takes a fortunate turn when Shaheer Ahmed, a good-looking and successful businessman falls in love with her. Despite being a self-made man, Shaheer is humble and soft-spoken in nature however no one is aware of his dark side. Surprised and sceptical at her good fate, Irha tries to stay away from him. Despite Irha’s reluctance, Shaheer refuses to step back and is adamant about marrying her. While Irha is at the crossroads of making an important decision, Sajal’s involvement with Shaheer becomes more frequent.
Will Irha be able to make the right decision and will she be able to save her relationship with Shaheer? Will everyone find out about Shaheer’s reality? How long will Sajal continue to interfere between Shaheer and Irha?
