Pakistani television production house 7th Sky Entertainment, known for conveying sensitive social messages through its drama content, has a new TV serial for its audience.

Child neglect is a theme tackled in its most recent drama serial Guddu— depicting the harrowing reality of abandonment. Penned by Rukhsana Nigar, the show offers insight into the far-reaching consequences of childhood traumas in dysfunctional families.

Fatima Effendi is seen essaying the role of the female lead, Nayab, a young mother who makes it out of a bad marriage with Ibad (starring Ali Abbas). It is hinted that their only child, Guddu (Falak Shahzad), will be left at the mercy of toxic relatives and eventually, a homeless community.

Directed by Irfan Aslam, the drama serial also features some versatile actors including Saleem Mairaj, Sohail Sameer, Kinza Malik, Babar Khan, Tipu Sharif, Aliya Ali, Zain Afzal, Rashid Farooqui, Madiha Rizvi, Kanwal Khan, Faiza Khan, Seema Khan, Rahma Ahmed, Momina Mughal, Farah Nadir, and Angel Kainaat as part of its supporting cast.

A presentation of 7th Sky Entertainment by the dynamic duo Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, Guddu will air daily at 7:00 p.m. starting from 18th August 2022.

Guddu will be available to stream on YouTube. Subscribe to our social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to get the latest updates on Guddu and other shows.
