One mistake does not have to rule a person's entire life. Teasers of the new drama serial, Mushkil, hint at the resilience of a married couple who agreed to tie the knot solely to protect family honour.

Despite their efforts to make peace with a relationship they could never imagine themselves in, it only takes an antagonist to spark a full-blown conflict when it seemed the storm had passed.

Starring Saboor Ali and Zainab Shabbir, Mushkil follows the friendship between Sameen and Hareem, which is put to test when Hareem’s one-sided love for Faraz makes her ask her best friend to advocate for her feelings.

The official teasers already encapsulate the life-altering situation Sameen and Faraz (played by Khushhal Khan) end up in after Sameen tries to keep her promise. But for Hareem, the circumstances translate into heartbreak, betrayal, and an urge for revenge.

The show comes with a stellar cast including Humayoun Ashraf, Behroze Sabzwari, Saife Hassan, Ismat Zaidi, Shagufta Ejaz, Laila Wasti, Kashif Hussain, Hareem Sohail, Rashid Farooqui, Majda Hameed, Rashida Tabassum, and Qudsia Ali.

Mushkil is a presentation of the country’s leading production house 7th Sky Entertainment by the dynamic duo Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. It is penned by Adeel Razzaq and directed by Marina Khan.

Mushkil will air daily at 9:00 p.m. starting from 23rd July 2022.
