It is evident from the Television Rating Points (TRPs) that Rang Mahal’s climax did keep the audience captivated long enough. With a recent rating of 14.2 TRPs and maintaining high TRPs throughout its airing period, this drama serial is now headed for a last episode tonight.

Throughout a total of 92 episodes, actors Humayoun Ashraf and Aruba Mirza kept the narrative interesting with their dialogue delivery as the antagonists and their onscreen role as an exploitive spouse to each other. Now, it is up to the protagonist, Mahpara (starring Sehar Khan), to choose between a man she loves and a man whom she finds worthy of her companionship.

It may be unfair to see a man as supportive as Salaar (Asim Mehmood) end up with unrequited love, the drama serial has been revolving around the need to be true to ourselves. Mahpara is aware that she’s marrying Salaar to reward him for his trust and support, but Salaar is proving once again that his love is ‘unconditional’ and does not need to be compensated with a half-hearted marriage.

As for the man she has deep-rooted love for, it is difficult for Mahpara to consider marrying him. Rayed may have packed a punch to protect her from Sohail, Mahpara struggles to find him worthy of her feelings. However, teasers reveal that Salaar is yet to make another sacrifice in love.

Will Salaar’s compromise give Mahpara the courage to let go of her bad memories and reunite with Rayed? Or is Rang Mahal slated to end with another surprising twist?

Rang Mahal’s last episode will air tonight at 9:00 p.m. on Geo Entertainment.
