Fitoor brought yet another enchanting and intense episode last night. After Hamza’s (starring Wahaj Ali) formal introduction with Haider (Faysal Quraishi), the story was bound to bring Hamza face to face with his former lover, Dilnasheen (Hiba Bukhari).

The 27th episode was orchestrated for the very purpose, but at the stake of Haider’s peace of mind. While Dilnasheen thinks she is safe as long as she keeps her husband in the dark, Haider wishes his wife comes clean about her past for once.

Haider is clearly disturbed with the fact that Dilnasheen was willing to falsely swear about a spotless past. The extent she chose to go to protect her marriage has put her in a deeper trouble as Haider now tests her loyalty every moment— desperate to see if she will ever disclose the truth about Hamza.

It is the sad reality that Dilnasheen will have nowhere to go if her marriage fails – and that her own mother will close the doors on her face – which prompts Dilnasheen to lie to Haider at every point in her marriage.

But now that Mehmal (Kiran Haq) has planted the seed of doubt in Haider’s heart and assured Hamza that Dilnasheen still lives in the past like he does, only time will tell if Dilnasheen can make it out of this mess.
