The most-anticipated dialogue between Farhad and Mahi finally took place as Khuda Aur Mohabbat progressed to the eighth episode last weekend. Devoted fans took to social media with their sympathies for Farhad (starring Feroze Khan) after seeing him vulnerable and helpless in love.

This love saga has put Mahi’s (Iqra Aziz) life at a fast pace for now as the stranger she had run into at Lahore railway station has sent his mother with a formal proposal for marriage.

Mahi’s family cannot waste a second either in finalizing the talks as Taimoor’s (Mirza Zain Baig) wealth and family influence complement theirs. Farhad just sat quietly in their servant quarter, recalling how Mahi had rubbished his feelings and said his existence means nothing to her.

His fearlessness and enthusiasm have terrified both Mahi and her sister-in-law of any consequences. But before he could even think of leaving her hometown, a tragedy is already waiting around the corner.
