Fitoor to launch tonight with a star-studded cast

After the mega success of drama serial Muqaddar, another Faysal Quraishi starrer titled ‘Fitoor’ is ready to join the realm of Geo Television’s drama serials— featuring how people of different wavelength survive with each other in intimate relationships.

For a stirring storyline as such, the dynamic duo Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi have introduced a never-before-seen-together pair, starring Faysal Quraishi alongside Hiba Bukhari.

What makes it more convincing is the depth in its storyline as Haider, being a middle-aged architect, doesn’t want any new people in life. Yet he allows Dilnasheen to enter his life.

Soon after, he feels that he isn’t getting the attention he deserves. His marital life brings him to face his insecurities as he learns about compassion and trust in his marriage with Dilnasheen despite their differences.

In an interview with Geo TV, the lead cast Faysal Quraishi opened up about his experience with this 7th Sky Entertainment project and how his role in Fitoor is poles apart from the Sardar Saif we saw in his earlier drama serial Muqaddar.

Upon being asked, Faysal shared that the one quality in the protagonist which isn’t pleased with is that Haider tends to live in the past. By the looks of the teasers, it only becomes problematic for Haider when his past relation and insecurities intervene in his beautiful present.

Faysal Quraishi added how working with the director, Siraj-Ul-Haq, after a long time has been another refreshing experience, whilst Kiran Haq’s performance was also quite surprising to him for working together after a long time.

Written by Zanjabeel Asim, this project also comes with a power-packed cast starring Wahaj Ali, Kiran Haq, Ismat Zaidi, Saba Hameed, Tanveer Jamal, Farhan Ally Agha, Annie Zaidi, Tipu Sharif, Kamran Jeelani, Mizna Waqas, Saif ul Hassan, Zohreh Amir, Fahima Awan and Kanwal Khan in pivotal roles. One can expect that justice has been done to all the actors.

Fitoor will air every Thursday at 8:00 p.m. on Har Pal Geo.
