Devrani Jethani

The drama "Devrani Jethani" is the story of resentment, revenge and jealousy. On the love and deceit relation of Almas Begum, this soap is based. She is jealous of Mehtab Begum because Mr. Azeem rejected Almas’s love and married Mehtab due to her wealth. Due to this hatred, their siblings, families and their own lives are in turmoil. And this old rivalry will damage the lives of Saira, Daim, Juggan and Erum.

It’s like a trend prevailing since long, a chocolate hero will do angelic roles where as a villain always chooses to be a villain in his entire career. It’s just like a stamp embossed on their personality and you will agree with me there are very few actors who later on tries to do a different role imprint over their personality and Madiha Iftikhar and Laila Zuberi are among the risk takers. Both the ladies have done innocent roles in their entire career but in Devraniyan Jethani they have left the audience in a shock as they are brilliantly perfuming negative characters in Devraniyan Jethani.

Devraniyan Jethani is a new and unique story revolving around the ups and downs that a family faces within and the element which makes it different from others is the cast. You must have heard the quote ‘Old is Gold’ and the cast of Devraniyan Jethani is as lustrous as gold. It includes the big stars of Pakistani drama industry Laila Zuberi, Shabbir Jan, Shagufta Ejaz, Mahira Khan, Madiha Iftikhar, Ayesha Gul, Affan Waheed, Kamran Jeelani, Diya Shah and Sundus Tariq.

The story is moving in a flow and expectations of audience are also swinging along with it and tonight’s episode will further push them up. You will see Madiha (who is cheating her husband) talking to his ex-lover on mobile phone whereas the increasing arguments between Naila and Erum are taking serious turn.
