Chicken Qorma


  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Fried onion 2
  • Curd 1 bowl
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Daigee mirch 2 tsp
  • Whole Black pepper little
  • Cinnamon stick little
  • Whole Brown cardamom little
  • Almonds 10-12 peeled
  • All spices powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Black cummin seed 1 tsp
  • Green coriander 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Ghee as required
  • Saffron a few drops
  • Milk a few drops
  • Rooh Kewra a few drops
  • Fresh Coriander for garnishing


Cooking Directions

  1. Grind fried oinion and add in curd mix well.
  2. Put chicken, salt, daigee mirch, ginger garlic paste, fried onion and all spices powder let it marinate for an hour.
  3. Heat oil in a pan add whole black pepepr, cinnamon stick and brown cardamom.
  4. Now put marinated chicken in it fry it well then add 2 glass of water let it cook.
  5. When chicken tender add black cummin seed and green coriander.
  6. Mix together milk, saffron and kewra essence and add this to the chicken.
  7. Garnish with peeled almonds or fresh coriander.
  8. Serve hot with naan or chapaties.
